Nowadays, the growth and viability of businesses depends, to a great extent, on designing and developing products that are of value to their clients and users. Listening to and understanding clients and suppliers is vital to turn product design and development into a joint development partnership.

Over time, we have gained experience and knowledge by sharing our learning curve that have allowed us to offer valuable products to our clients. These achievements would have not been possible without the interaction of all the participants and the support of our ally whom we sincerely thank.

Based on our practices of designing and developing products, we ventured in the development of medical and disposable laboratory ware. Also, we are in the design phase for the installation of an ISO 13485, ISO 14644-1, FDA and CE-Mark – compliant production line.

But before starting with the construction of the productive environment to comply with the demanding production standards for the medical devices and laboratory consumables, we developed and tested products specifically selected for their complexity and productive characteristics. The results of these tests were quite positive.

We are sure that we can experience in this new adventure the happiness of continuing to deliver products with value to our customers.

After different discussions and reflections on this subject, Plastinovo decided to actively participate, from our given possibilities, in order to contribute to the reduction of the negative impact we cause on the environment every day.

From several projects that were discussed, we decided to start with a project to contribute to the reduction of CO₂ emissions. The goal is that Plastinovo will be CO₂ neutral by December 2021 and CO₂ negative starting on 2022. We will achieve this through different activities and actions, such as the use of alternative ecological fuels in vehicles, participation in afforestation programs, control implementations, and emission reductions due to efficiency and technology matters, among others.

In the initial phase, we are conducting a study to identify the amount of our CO₂ emissions as a company and creating formal programs to be implemented. However, we have already started to participate in afforestation and tree planting programs, having as a positive impact the awareness of families—parents and children—on the environment and the importance of its protection.

Every year, we choose a foundation with a social purpose that supports homeless children, elderly people who do not receive a support, or, in general, people who do not have a decent life, in order to plan a joyous event. This event involves giving these people tools and implements necessary for their daily activities and gifts to improve their living conditions and bringing joy to those who need it, in addition to preparing and sharing meals and celebrations with a love that manages to keep in their memories these moments of joy.

Our new project for this year is to establish a volunteer agreement with a neighboring foundation, in order to listen to, talk to, support, and entertain the lonely or forgotten people who live there.
